Auxiliary Power Units

PBS Auxiliary Power Units are used in airplanes and helicopters as a source of electrical power before the main aircraft engines begin to run. APUs are tailored to customer needs to provide bleed air, electric and hydraulic power.

The Auxiliary Power Unit Safir 5K/G-MI is designed to supply air to engine starters and environmental control systems, to drive the AC generator and to supply power to hydraulic systems. It also features a dual speed sensor, exhaust gas temperature sensor, oil and fuel signaling, filter contamination and signaling of low oil levels. Other features include analog indicators of APU parameters and of digital signals from the control box RS422 serial interface, along with operation parameters and failures.

The Auxiliary Power Unit Safir 5K/G-MI40 is used for starting the main engines using air pressure. It provides an autonomous source of electric power and an air source for the air-conditioning system. It also offers a range of further potential applications. It also features a dual speed sensor, exhaust gas temperature sensor, oil and fuel signaling, filter contamination signaling and signaling of low oil levels. Other features include analog indicators of APU parameters and of digital signals from the control box RS422 serial interface, along with operation parameters and failures.

The Auxiliary Power Unit Safir 5K/G-MIS is used for starting the main engines using compressed air and provides an autonomous source of electric power and an air source for air conditioning systems. The Safír 5K/G-MIS Auxiliary Power Unit is designed to supply air for starting the main engines, for use in air conditioning systems and to drive the DC starter-generator.

The Auxilary Power Unit Safir 5K/G-Z8 can be used in civil aviation applications all around the world. This certification guarantees to manufacturers and operators that the unit can be used, installed and operated in civil aviation applications without any additional certification. The Safir 5K/G-Z8 has passedcertification processes, has ETSO Authorization from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and also holds CAAC certification.
