Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and results-oriented Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our turbojet engine manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and optimizing production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Successful candidate profile:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality assurance
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
Department of Defense experience a plus
Knowledge of aerospace materials and their manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring engine production schedules are met while adhering to aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all manufactured products meet or exceed quality standards and certifications (e.g., AS9100) through effective quality control measures and continuous monitoring.
Resource Management:
Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, optimize resource allocation, and monitor costs to achieve financial objectives.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and resolve production-related issues.
Safety and Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to aerospace manufacturing.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on manufacturing performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project status for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
