Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Jet Propulsion Engineer to join our cutting-edge aerospace team. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and optimization of jet propulsion systems, contributing to the development of high-performance aircraft engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, extensive experience in propulsion systems, and a passion for advancing aerospace technology.
Successful candidate profile:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred.
10+ years of experience in jet propulsion engineering or a related aerospace field, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Strong expertise in propulsion system design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials used in aerospace applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
Strong leadership and project management abilities, with effective communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with engine testing processes.
Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and emerging propulsion technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
Lead the design and development of jet propulsion components and systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
Project Management:
Oversee propulsion-related projects from concept through testing, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and budgets.
Testing and Validation:
Develop and execute test plans for propulsion systems, analyze test data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support design validation and certification efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems into aircraft platforms.
Mentorship:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology advancements, contributing to the development of next-generation propulsion systems.
