Turboprop Engines

PBS AEROSPACE is specialized in production of turboprop engines. The turboprop engine can be considered to be a hybrid between the piston and jet engines. The advantage of this power plant is lower consumption, which increases their flight range. Therefore, this engine is used mainly in light aircraft used in civil aviation, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles. PBS AEROSPACE production division, is a manufacturer of aircraft turboprop engines. PBS AEROSPACE Inc. (US) is the supplier of these engines in the USA.

The PBS TP100 is a turboprop engine especially suited to small aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. These can be used by rescue services or for police or reconnaissance purposes and also in agriculture. They can also be used in military applications for other purposes and for Vertical Take-Off and Landing UAVs. The main advantage of this engine is its low weight with a power of 241HP (180 kW) and its capacity to achieve flight levels of 29,520 ft. (9,000 m) with a maximum starting height of 19,680 ft. (6,000 m). The system is designed so that the engine can be placed in the aircraft in either pusher or tractor mode.
