PBS Aerospace has been a reliable partner to the US Experimental Aircraft Market for more than a decade. PBS turbine engines have been utilized on Sub Sonex, RV10, BD5J and Cessna 172 aircrafts. These aircrafts integrate our famous TJ100 turbojet and TP100 turboprop engines.
PBS Aerospace currently manufactures and provides support & MRO to 4 different turbojet programs with a thrust range of 90 to 340 lbf. The turbojet engines have been modified to meet the requirements of experimental flying. These modifications include benefits such as a dedicated oil system, pre-wired arrangement and throttle control for “plug and play” integration or full FADEC software architecture.
Following the success of the turbojet engines, PBS Aerospace also offers a turboprop engine solution. The TP100 turboprop only weighs 135 lbs and offers maximum continuous power of 240 hp. The TP100 is a perfect way of upgrading aircraft from piston engines to turbines.
PBS engines are a perfect fit for many kit planes, microjets, powered gliders and light-sport aircraft. With more than a thousand TJ100 turbojets delivered, PBS Aerospace continues to provide support for existing customers, and constantly innovates the turbojet engine product lines.
