Turbojet Engines

PBS AEROSPACE is specialized in the production of turbojet engines. Production of turbojet engines is a significant category in the field of aircraft engines. The advantage of turbojet engines is the ratio of their weight to their highest achievable output.  Because of this, these engines are used in particular in the experimental sector. In recent times, in a period of an increase in the use of manned and unmanned, In this category, PBS AEROSPACE has designed, developed, manufactured and brought onto the market several smaller turbojet-type engines. More than 1000 produced PBS turbojet engines power unmanned systems and experimental aircraft worldwide. Today,  the turbojet engine PBS TJ100 belongs to the 4TH GENERATION of this type of power plant. PBS AEROSPACE Inc. (US) supplies the complete range of these engines in the USA.

The PBS TJ150 jet engine was developed for target drones and other unmanned systems. Its advantage is its compact design, low weight with a thrust of up to 1,500 N, and low fuel consumption in the given power category. The generator output is 750 W. One of the PBS TJ150 engine versions enables landing on water. The PBS TJ150 engine is a single-shaft jet engine consisting of a radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, axial turbine and a fixed outlet nozzle. 

The PBS TJ100 is a 4th-GENERATION turbojet engine. The PBS TJ100 is especially suitable for manned and unmanned vehicles. These engines are also ideal for gliders and light sports and experimental airplanes. The PBS TJ100 engine is of a compact design and has an excellent power-to-weight ratio of up to 292 lbf (1,250 N) with low fuel consumption for its output category. This engine is also suitable for landing on water.

PBS TJ80 is a small turbojet engine that has been designed for manned and unmanned vehicles. Single-stage radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, and single-stage axial turbine. 
Rotor bearings are lubricated by the autonomous oil system. The engine is controlled by an electronic system. The start of the engine as well as of the fuel and oil pump is electrical. The power supply is ensured by an integral generator and DC-DC converter. The ignition system is a low-voltage system.

The PBS TJ40 G-1  has the advantage of having a weight of only 7.16 lb. (3.25 kg)  and a thrust of 88.8 lbf (395 N).


The PBS TJ40-G2 advantage is its low weight of 3.8 kg and thrust of 395 N. The PBS PBS TJ40-G2 jet engine is a single-shaft turbine jet engine with a one-stage radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, one-stage axial turbine and outlet nozzle.
The generator output is 200 W, and with an external converter, it is an additional 900 W.
